Overview

MindBell is a lightweight stress-relief and mindfulness app built around a temple bell. Tap the bell at the center of the screen — it sways, a deep chime rings out, and a “Merit +1” floats up. Or turn on auto-strike, set the pace and a stop rule, and let the bell sound carry your focus session or lull you to sleep. No sign-up, no ads. Open, tap, done.

Core Features

Manual striking: Tap the bell or the wooden mallet to strike. Low-latency sound keeps up with rapid tapping without smearing; the counter ticks up in real time, with optional haptics (off by default).
Auto-strike: Three mutually exclusive modes — continuous, timer, or count. Adjust the interval from 0.5 to 10 seconds with Slow / Medium / Fast presets; watch remaining time, remaining strikes, and total strikes at a glance, and stop anytime.
Calm / merit counter: Today’s strikes, lifetime total, and streak days at a glance. Floating texts like “Merit +1”, “Calm +1”, “Worries -1” are optional and customizable — or turn them all off.
Daily goal: Set a strike goal and track progress and completion — a gentle record of each day’s quiet moment.
Skins: Mix and match 10 bell skins (including a realistic 3D bell), 6 mallet skins, and multiple floating-text styles; numbered bell tones 01–10 to choose from; the background color automatically follows the system light/dark appearance.
Ambient music: A separate track from strike sounds, with independent volume sliders. Built-in loops include zen instrumentals, nature white noise, and classic chants; toggle it on or off anytime.
3D bell animation: On every strike the bell swings with light and particle feedback — the impact feels real.
Wallpapers: Choose between static wallpapers and living wallpapers with drifting particle scenes.
Background playback: Auto-strike and ambient music keep running when you lock the screen or switch apps — nothing interrupts your session.
Home Screen & Lock Screen widgets: A static panel showing today’s strikes, lifetime total, and goal progress, with one-tap switching of the bell’s theme color — check your progress without opening the app.

Fully local: counters and settings stay on your device; nothing is ever uploaded.
No accounts: no sign-up, no login, no cloud sync, no third-party SDKs or analytics.
